We are now seeking an experienced Country Business Controller to join our Finance team in Romania, in a permanent position. As a Lindströmer, you will be a trusted business partner to the local management team and play a key role in driving financial performance, supporting strategic decision-making, and enabling sustainable growth.
Your key contribution areas
As Country Business Controller, you will monitor and drive the country’s financial performance, provide insightful analysis, and ensure high-quality forecasting and reporting. You will work closely with the country management team, regional finance, and centralised accounting functions.
Your key responsibilities include:
- Monitoring and analysing financial performance and business results, providing clear insights and forward-looking analysis
- Supporting strategy, business planning, budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis
- Providing commercial finance support, including pricing calculations, customer profitability analysis, and business cases
- Ensuring high-quality reporting, compliance with local legislation, and cooperation with accounting partners and auditors
What helps you to shine in this role?
You combine strong financial expertise with a commercial mindset and enjoy working closely with the business. You are analytical, proactive, and comfortable challenging and supporting stakeholders.
To succeed in this role, you should have:
- A Master’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field
- Strong analytical and financial modelling skills, with a solid understanding of revenue and cost drivers
- Experience in controlling, financial analysis, budgeting, and forecasting in an international or matrix organisation
- Fluency in English; knowledge of local regulatory and statutory requirements in Romania is an advantage.

- Regional Finance and Business Controlling colleagues in South-East Europe
- Centralised accounting functions and external accounting partners
