Head of Regional Service Operations, Northern Europe
We are seeking a strategic and forward-thinking Head of Regional Service Operations to lead our Northern Europe service operations in a permanent position, based at our head office in Helsinki. Join us and play a key role in shaping safe, efficient and sustainable operations across our business. Purpose of the role
As Head of Regional Service Operations, you lead the continuous improvement of laundry and delivery operations across the Northern Europe region to reach our Strategy 2030 targets. You ensure that globally agreed processes, concepts and standards are implemented consistently, while driving safety, efficiency and sustainability. You own the regional investment roadmap and play a key role in shaping long-term operational performance as part of the regional leadership team.
Your key contribution areas
- Lead and develop regional operational excellence, embedding a strong continuous improvement culture
- Drive fact-based target setting, action planning and performance follow-up
- Ensure alignment and consistent implementation of global processes, concepts and ways of working
- Develop operational capabilities through audits, benchmarks and best practice sharing
- Drive continuous improvement in safety, productivity and sustainability to strengthen our value proposition to customers
- Drive operational performance that supports customer retention, sales growth and margin improvement
- Lead regional investments, maintenance and facility management
- Own the investment roadmap, operations footprint and capacity strategy to enable scalable growth and successful market entries
- Act as a member of global service operations management team
- Lead, coach and develop your own team
Your key people
You work closely with regional and country management teams, service centers, global operations leadership, procurement, technology and detergent partners, investment project teams and fellow regional operations leaders.
What helps you to shine in this role?
- 7+ years of experience in operations management and development in a complex, preferably multinational environment
- Strong business and commercial mindset – ability to understand how operational decisions impact customer value, growth and profitability
- Proven track record in driving measurable performance improvements
- Experience in investment, project and change management
- Strong analytical capability and ability to turn data into decisions and actions
- Confident, inclusive leadership style with the ability to inspire and engage
- Strong collaboration and communication skills across cultures and functions
- Relevant M.Sc. or B.Sc. degree
- Fluent English, other languages are an advantage
- Willingness to travel within the region
