FACILITY & MAINTENANCE MANAGER, NORTHERN EUROPE
We are looking for an analytical and forward-thinking Facility & Maintenance Manager to join our regional Service Operations team in a permanent role. The position can be based in any of our NE region countries (Finland, Sweden, Estonia, Latvia, Lithuania, Ukraine). Purpose of the role
As Facility & Maintenance Manager, you are responsible for improving and sustaining maintenance and facility-related operations across our Northern Europe region. You ensure that assets, facilities, and maintenance processes are managed efficiently, safely, and in line with agreed standards, while supporting operational performance and long-term investments. You will develop and closely follow-up that our maintenance-related KPIs are met.
Your key contribution areas
- Coordinate and develop regional maintenance and facility management activities
- Support maintenance planning, spare parts management, and related training needs
- Ensure effective cooperation between service centres and external partners
- Audit units to ensure compliance with maintenance procedures and standards
- Act as a key user for the maintenance management system
- Evaluate maintenance and facility investment needs together with local teams
- Support rental facility management and energy efficiency initiatives
Your key people
You will work closely with both internal and external stakeholders, including country organizations and service centres, procurement (services and investment goods), technology partners and suppliers and service and maintenance partners.
What helps you to shine in this role?
- Minimum 5 years of experience in investment management, project management and/or operations management
- Experience in maintenance environments and technical investments
- Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field (e.g. engineering, economics)
- Strong planning, organizing and analytical skills
- Ability to evaluate data and support fact-based decision-making
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work effectively with people across functions and countries
- Willingness and ability to travel within the region (Finland, Baltics, Sweden)
- Fluent English, other regional languages are considered an advantage
