JOB DESCRIPTION

           

  • Responsible for the management of the laundry service process
  • The next in rank of the textile care employees and the maintenance personnel (in the beginning also the customer care and the route service are included in the subordinates)

 

MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Laundry service operations in accordance with the Corporate Operations Manual
  • Human Resource Management
  • Productivity development
  • Implementation of the Personnel Policy
  • Implementation of the Company Values, Mission, Vision and Strategic options
  • Efficient usage of capacity and resources
  • Maintenance of the laundry machines and equipment and the real estate as well

 

 

KEY TASKS

  • The next in rank of the laundry service personnel
  • Follow-up and analysis of the operational targets and results
  • Annual planning
  • Organizing, development and control of the laundry service operations according to the business concept/model
  • Recruitment of the personnel
  • Implement the laundry service agreed with a customer at the lowest possible costs

 

COMPETENCE REQUIREMENTS

  • Leadership skills
  • Negotiation skills
  • Skills and knowledge of Leadership
  • Good command of the English language
  • Good basic knowledge of textile rental business/ models and products

 

INDIVIDUAL REQUIREMENTS

 

(Personal qualifications, education, experience)           

  • Natural prerequisites for leadership and management: will and ability
  • Encouraging leader and a decisive manager when needed
  • Resistance to stress
  • Technical basic education of university degree. Professional training courses preferable.
  • Several years experience of human resource management (team leadership)/ process management
  • Ability to analyse information and to implement it into the development of the operations
  • Ability to organise
  • Ability to do independent and systematic work
