Purpose of the Role

Supporting the business units in delivery services related processes, tools and deploying new concepts and developments in to use. Responsible for optimizing delivery routes in collaboration with local route planners to ensure cost-effective end-to-end operations.

Main Responsibility

Maintain and continuously develop delivery operations in cooperation with route planners in countries and business units:

•Master routes optimization & planning of new delivery depots in co-operation with local teams
•Participating from delivery perspective to laundry/operations network optimization
•Training route planners in business units when deploying new concepts, services & processes in use
•Training of new route planners joining Lindström
•Lean practice implementation and support
•Supporting route planners & their managers regarding pricing of new and existing delivery subcontractors’ contracts
•Supporting route planners and regional CX leads on setting up actions related to VOC, VOE (drivers) & VOP results
•Share best practices between delivery planning specialists
•Audit delivery operations in countries

Key user tasks:

•User acceptance testing
•Linda support
•Abssolute, Route Assistant & new delivery IT solution support
•Collecting development proposals from units and analysing those together with super user/process owner

Annual updates of reporting templates together with country route planners.

Job Requirements 

•A relevant bachelor's degree
•3-5 years of relevant work experience
•Strong understanding of delivery services and route optimization
•Readiness for business travels
 
This position is open across 8 BUs in China, and the successful candidate can be based at any of these locations.
